In 2020 we rediscovered the importance of a local food chain when our local grocery store shelves were often wiped clean of inventory. It was during this time that Market Managers, Roger and April Shaner, started dreaming about reviving the Palestine Farmers Market pavilion in Palestine’s historic Main Street district. They dreamed of a space where homesteaders, food producers, ranchers, and artisans as well as consumers gathered and shared food, products, ideas, and solutions.
